Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for visiting my class blog!
I wish I could have listened to that talk about homeschooling. I was just talking to my wife about this last night. We agreed (at least for our children) that probably at least things should be true if we chose to homeschool: 1) our children should still have chances to play with other children, and 2) our children's being homeschooled shouldn't damage their chances of going to a university (therefore, society would need to recognize homeschooling as a valid kind of education). There was a third thing, but I can't remember what it was. Homeschooling probably would work much better in the U.S. than in Japan. How about in Taiwan?
Thanks for the interesting post.
John
Well done!
There are few home schooling cases in Taiwan recently. Also, they neeed to get the promission to home schooling. Last year, I got the home schooling information from news in Taiwan. In this case, the mother home school her children and had to certificate from government every year. In my opinion, if parents have skill in teach all subjects, it's a good way to educate their children.
Hi, Jennifer
In my country we have but not exactly like that there is a little bit different.
We can study in the home but take the final test in the school.
